Walk in Clinic

General Rules and Guidelines:

If you are a new patient then please register yourself first and give us a call to approve.

  1. No Appointments needed, Subject to availability.

  2. You can usually walk in without scheduling an appointment.

  3. You'll likely need to present your health insurance card (e.g., OHIP), a government-issued ID, and any relevant medical information like a list of current medications. 

  4. Walk-in clinics are generally for urgent, non-life-threatening issues like minor illnesses, injuries, or skin conditions

  5. Be prepared for potential wait times, especially during busy hours or in high-demand hours. 

  6. Clinics have policies against abusive language or behavior towards staff, physicians, or other patients. 

  7. Some services, like prescribing opioids, completing physicals, or forms requiring detailed medical history, may not be able to do  at walk-in clinics and may require a visit to a family doctor. 

  8. Clinics may stop accepting new patients if they are at capacity or have a full queue, so it's best to visit early in the day to avoid this. 

  9. Non-OHIP Coverage: If you don't have OHIP coverage, you'll need to pay out-of-pocket for services. 

  10. Walk in clinic is busy and appointment is time limited so one problem at one visit policy.
